High Range PCE Raw Material Polyether Monomer

Product Description 

 

After nearly a hundred years of development, polyether monomer production process has become a more mature technology. This process refers to the addition polymerization reaction of ethylene oxide (EO) as raw material with various starting agents (such as ethylene glycol containing active hydrogen in the molecule, fatty alcohol, etc.) under the action of catalysts to produce polyether macromonomer products of various specifications. The characteristics of this kind of production process mainly include: (1) the reaction process includes: nitrogen replacement, feed, pre-reaction, reaction, curing, devolatilization, discharge, washing kettle (optional) and other steps; ② The reaction is a strong exothermic reaction (the reaction heat is about 2140kJ/kgEO); ③ The reaction is intermittent, the product viscosity is large, easy to block; The reaction raw material contains ethylene oxide (EO) gas (flammable and explosive and highly toxic), which is prone to fire and explosion causing major safety accidents once it is leaked.

 

Based on the characteristics of the production process, its production technology has been continuously improved, and has experienced the traditional mixing process, spray production process, loop jet production process.
