What is Melamine Superplasticizer?

Sulfonate Melamine Formaldehyde Resin Superplasticizer is a free-flowing, spray dried powder of a sulfonated polycondensation product based on Melamine., which has very strong absoption and dispersion effect to the cements, and it is suitable for cementitious mortars with requirements of high fluidity and high strength.

Product Application

1. SMF high-efficiency water reducer has good dispersion properties for aluminate and a good water-reducing effect. It can be used in refractory concrete, bricks, refractory castables, and other aluminate materials to significantly improve refractory materials' resistance. It can enhance the compressive and flexural strength, reduce the moisture porosity of refractory materials, increase the density, and extend the life of refractory materials. The commonly used dosage is 0.5%-1.5% of the cementing material.

2. SMF high-efficiency water reducer is used in self-leveling cement mortar, non-metallic wear-resistant floors, and grouting materials to improve the workability of the materials, increase the hardness and smoothness of the floor surface, and prevent cracks.

3. SMF high-efficiency water reducer is used in waterproof mortar and emulsion modifiers to improve the impermeability of concrete or mortar.

4. SMF high-efficiency water reducer prepares high-strength concrete, pumped concrete, colored concrete, decorative products, high-strength mortar, and repair mortar.

SMF can impart mortar quick plasticizing speed, high liquifying effect, low air entraining effect.

SMF is of good compatibility with various kind of cement or gypsum binders, other additives such as de-foaming agent, thickener, retarder, expansive agent, accelerator etc.

SMF is suitable for tile grout, self-leveling compounds, fair-faced concrete and color floor hardener.

SMF can be used as wetting agent for dry mix mortar to obtain good workability.

Packing and Storage

Storage and transportation should be carried out in cool and dry condition. Under high temperature and high humidity, product should be kept away from moisture and pressure to avoid coalescence or agglomeration.

If the product is not used up, the opened package must be sealed tightly to prevent moisture from ingress.
