Product Description  

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose(CMC) which is obtained by chemical modification of natural cellulose, is a water-soluble cellulose ether. CMC is characterized by odourless, tasteless, and non-toxic with white to off-white powder or granule. It can dissoive in water easily and transfer into colloidal solution, and cannot dissolve in ethanol, etheracetone or other organic solvents. CMC has thickening properties that can be used as water retaining agent, adhesive, emulsifier, and disintegrator. CMC is the carrier of biological products.

We have many different types of products including HPMC, CMC, HEC, SMF, which could be used as dry mix mortar additives, Concrete Additives and others.

1. CMC has benefits like good acid resistance, salt tolerance, high transparency , less free cellulose and gel particels, fast dissolution and good fluidity;
2. CMC can make water, fat and protein well mixed, dispersed and emulsified in ice cream, avoid ice crystals, improve taste and keep uniformity of final products;
3. CMC can ensure the stability of acid drinks and extend its shelf life due to its good degree of substitution;
4. CMC itself has no calorific value and is a good choice for manufacturing low-calorie foods;

CMC Food Grade
CMC is widely used in food industry, it play the roles of taste improvement, thickening and stabilization when used in various kinds of dairy drinks and seasonings. As an additive of molding, taste improvement, anti-fragmentation, water retaining and tenacity strengthening, CMC is also used in ice cream, bread, cake, biscuit, instant noodle and fast paste foods.
The recommended addition is 0.3-1.0%.
 
CMC Textile Grade
Is ready to replace traditional sodium alginate with about half of the cost.
 
CMC Ceramic Grade
Can be used for water preserving in concrete paste and color paste, as adhesive in concrete, sand, and in adhesive layer for wall paper installation.CMC is used for ceramic embryo, glazing pulp and colored glaze in ceramic industry.
Addition: 0.03%-0.2% used in ceramic embryo; 0.05-0.2% used in glazing pulp; 1.4-4.0% used in colored glaze.

Packing and Storage

The product should be stored in a dry and clean environment, with the original packaging and away from heat sources. This product is not easy to fail, but it is a hydrophilic product, if the storage environment is poor, it will slowly inhale water, it is recommended to follow the principle of first in first out.
